If you're seeing Error code 73 on your iPad, the steps below walk you through the most common fixes.
Disney+ detects you are in an unsupported region or are using a VPN. On an iPad, the most common cause is Apple's iCloud+ Private Relay, which routes your traffic through Apple's servers and looks like a proxy to Disney+. Turn it off first, then disable any other VPN or Proxy.
Turn off Apple Private Relay:
1. Open the Settings app on your iPad.
2. Tap your name (Apple Account) at the very top.
3. Tap iCloud.
4. Tap Private Relay.
5. Turn the Private Relay switch off.
Also check your Wi-Fi network settings:
6. Go back to Settings, then tap Wi-Fi.
7. Tap the (i) icon next to the network you are connected to.
8. Make sure "Limit IP Address Tracking" is turned off.
Some anti-virus software also includes a hidden VPN that needs to be disabled. After turning these off, restart your device and reopen Disney+.
iPadOS apps don't expose a "clear cache" button, so offload or delete the app to clear its data.
1. Settings > General > iPad Storage.
2. Tap the app, then Offload App or Delete App.
3. Reinstall from the App Store and sign back in.

3. Optional: restart the iPad.
Install App:
1. Open the App Store, search for the app, tap Get.
2. Open and log in.

Press and hold the top button (and volume button on Face ID models) → slide to power off → wait 30 seconds → hold top button to restart.
Use the Restart option instead: hold top button → slide to power off → wait 30 sec → turn back on.

3.Plug modem into wall, wait a few minutes for modem to reconnect to the internet.
