If you're seeing black-screen on your iPad, the steps below walk you through the most common fixes.
A black screen usually means the app is open but the video player hasn't triggered. This is often a browser extension conflict (like ad-blockers) or an HDMI issue on TVs. Try unplugging your HDMI cable and plugging it back in firmly.

iPadOS apps don't expose a "clear cache" button, so offload or delete the app to clear its data.
1. Settings > General > iPad Storage.
2. Tap the app, then Offload App or Delete App.
3. Reinstall from the App Store and sign back in.
1. Tap and hold the app until it shakes.
2. Tap the X to delete.
3. Optional: restart the iPad.
Install App:
1. Open the App Store, search for the app, tap Get.
2. Open and log in.
App Store → Account icon (top right) → scroll down to pending updates → tap Update next to the app.
Settings → General → Software Update → Install Now.
Press and hold the top button (and volume button on Face ID models) → slide to power off → wait 30 seconds → hold top button to restart.
Use the Restart option instead: hold top button → slide to power off → wait 30 sec → turn back on.

3.Plug modem into wall, wait a few minutes for modem to reconnect to the internet.
