If you're seeing black-screen on your Windows PC, the steps below walk you through the most common fixes.
A black screen usually means the app is open but the video player hasn't triggered. This is often a browser extension conflict (like ad-blockers) or an HDMI issue on TVs. Try unplugging your HDMI cable and plugging it back in firmly.

Store app: Settings > Apps > Installed apps > the app > Advanced options > Reset.
Browser: press Ctrl+Shift+Delete > choose "Cached images and files" > Clear now, or test in a Private / Incognito window.
1. Start → Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
2. Find the app → three-dot menu → Uninstall.
Install App:
1. Open the Microsoft Store, search for the app, click Install.
2. Or re-download from the service's website.
Microsoft Store → Library → Get updates → Update next to the app.
For browser-based: clear cache and reload.
Start → Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates → Install.
Start → Power → Restart.
Shut down via Start → Power → Shut Down, then unplug from the wall. Wait 60 seconds, plug back in and restart.
1.Unplug modem from wall.
2.Wait 1 full minute.
3.Plug modem into wall, wait a few minutes for modem to reconnect to the internet.
Start → Power → Restart.
