Follow the steps below to activate ESPN Unlimited through your DIRECTV subscription.
Activation Steps

Sign in to DIRECTV
Go to directv.com and click Sign In. Enter your DIRECTV User ID and password. A one-time verification code may be sent to your email.

Select TV Package
From the Account Overview page, click TV Package.

Click Activate ESPN Unlimited
Below your package name, click Activate ESPN Unlimited. You can also use the activation link sent to you by email.

Arrive at the activation page
You will land on the Activate your ESPN Unlimited Subscription page.

Click Activate Now
Press the Activate Now button.

Complete the ESPN activation flow
You will be redirected to the ESPN activation page on ESPN.com.

Accept the terms
Click Agree & Activate.

Create or log in to your ESPN account
Enter an email address and password to create or sign in to a My Disney/ESPN account.

Start streaming
Open the ESPN app on your device and sign in to start watching.

9. Start streaming
Open the ESPN app on your device and sign in to start watching.
It appears on the Account Overview page after signing in to directv.com. If you can't see it, try clicking the activation link from your entitlement email instead.
Do I need a separate ESPN account?
Yes. During the ESPN activation flow you will be asked to create or link a My Disney (ESPN) account using a separate email and password.
