It is one of the most common Disney+ sign-in errors, and in nearly every case you can clear it yourself from your account settings.

What causes error 50? The usual triggers are an expired or declined payment method, a password that was recently changed, an account signed in on too many devices at once, or a temporary sync problem between the app and Disney's servers.

How to fix error code 50:

1. Reset your password from your Disney+ account page, then sign back in with the new password to refresh your login.

2. Open Account > Subscription and update any expired card or out-of-date billing address so your payment can be verified.

3. Fully close the Disney+ app (don't just minimize it), wait about 10 seconds, then reopen it and log in again.

Basic Troubleshooting steps for Xbox

Clear the app cache and data

Clear cache / data on Xbox

Clear system cache: hold the Xbox power button for 10 seconds to fully shut down, then unplug for 30 seconds and restart.

Clear app data: My games & apps > the app > Manage > uninstall, then reinstall from the Store.

Reinstall the app

Delete app on Xbox

1. Go to My games & apps > See all.

2. Highlight app > Manage > Uninstall.

1. Go to Store > Search.

2. Select app > Install.
